The Cottage

Want to know about one of my favorite places on earth?  It's not far from here, just an hour or so, but feels thousands of miles from the thoughts and commitments and worries of regular life.  Packed with lazy hours, delicious food, board and card games aplenty, beautiful sunsets, magical campfires, days on end of wearing nothing but swimsuits and sweatpants and no makeup and a suntan, and - this year - the best family wiffleball tournament ever to hit the town of Aurora.  This place is my haven.
