Hello there! I can't believe it's been nearly two weeks since I last posted and promised plenty of Chicago pictures! I promise that I have indeed been working on them, scaling them down and such, and will post them very soon. In the meantime, it's Sunday, and my A-Chef and I are spending this Sunday night the best way we know how: relaxing in our cozy livingroom, watching movies on television, and enjoying a warm, bright fire on this dark, chilly night. Even better - it rained today. I love a rainy afternoon with nothing to do but lounge.
We had a glorious weekend visit with my Besty, which included dinner out on Friday, loads of iced coffee and caramel macchiattos, a picnic lunch at Montgomery Place, shopping, pedicures, wine, the Office boardgame, yahtzee and plenty of lounging and chatting on the couches. Life is good. After a weekend so lovely, it's hard to accept that I have to go back to work tomorrow (even though I worked yesterday, too), so if you don't mind, I'll be getting back to my spot in front of the fire now, where I can laze about in denial for just a bit longer...
