Sometime after 10pm: Settled into the (big) couch with a glass of wild grape white wine and watched "The Blindside" for the first time. I adored it.
12:02am (technically Wednesday): Finished watching the Blindside, send A-Chef off to the deep dark basement to retrieve the final batch of laundry from the dryers.
12:04am: Fire Alarm. Someone was using a fog machine. On a Tuesday night. Alone in his room.
12:04am and 30 seconds: Piled on a sweater, scarf and my snuggly winter boots on top of my pjs (because it was about 40 degrees out) and headed out the door.
12:05am: Witnessed the brightest and most beautiful full moon of my life. I didn't have my camera with me, and couldn't go inside to get it, but no matter. A photograph would have been a waste. It was almost like looking at the sun - so bright that my eyes needed to adjust before I could see the gray shadows and craters that make the moon the moon. I laid down in the chilly grass in the dark to watch for a while as transparent clouds drifted between the moon and me - still not blocking out the light by any means. Thanks kid with a fog machine. Living out here in the unlit country isn't so bad sometimes.
12:43am: Back inside and time for bed. TTFN.
