Before long we'll be leaving the beautiful Hudson Valley. At least for now. By that time I will have been living here for three years, which is practically like having gone to college all over again (yipes!). While I am no doubt excited to move on and try living in a nice big city again, if we do end up in DC, I know I will miss this little stretch of woods by the river. Dozens of places to walk and hike and pick or buy fresh produce without having to drive more than 5 minutes. It's not a bad life.
Recently I began a list of things I want to do and see before we move next summer...I'll admit that a lot of these activities revolve around my favorite season - FALL! I can't help it, I love the leaves. And the pumpkins. And the apples. And!...okay, I'll stop. Anyway, with all this in mind, I thought you might like to see some of my favorite everyday places to stop, as well as some of the new corners of Dutchess County and beyond that I explore in the next year. I do love to document a good adventure. Here goes.
